When you rotate the joints or take specific yoga poses synovial fluid is released and lubricate the joints. A healthy joint is a moveable one. We generally do not have the opportunity to move the joints to the dregree and rotation that they were meant to move. Over time the joints get weak, stiff and range of motion is limited.
